The calmness that the night brings,
Everything's so quite and still,
Like the peace that you want to feel.

And all that you can hear,
Is the silence in the air,
As your heart longs for your Creator,
You cry the tears of repentance,
For all the wrongs you did,
For all the rights you skipped.

Your hands reach out,
But nobody's there to support you,
Your eyes see that there's no one around,
But your heart and soul know,
That indeed you are not alone.

For Allah is always there,
Nearer to you than you can ever perceive,
Listening to your every prayer,
Guiding your heart...if only you could feel it.

As the night turns to dawn,
You want to feel that perfect silence again,
To be as near as you can to Al Ghaffar,
To beg for forgiveness,
To cry your every sadness...
